Capacitors: Exploding Foil Initiators

Custom's made-to-order capacitors are available for Exploding Foil Initiator (EFI) applications and devices. This cost effective, highly reliable capacitor can be packaged with a variety of materials and processes. Flat wide leads or strip lines enhance the unit's low inductance, high pulse discharge characteristics and can be designed to meet your most stringent electrical, environmental, and physical requirements. Custom's EFIs are designed for single pulse discharge, not traditional DC life. Packaging options include:
